May 14  -  Penn Cove Water Festival  -  Tribal Canoe Races, Native American Arts & Crafts, storytelling, dance performances, authentive native american foods, childrens activities.For more information go to

May 28th  -  Coupeville’s Annual Memorial Weekend Parade  -  Parade, Remembrance Ceremony, Musical Salute to the Armed Services and Picnic.   Parade route:  Starts at Terry Rd & S. Main, Proceeds S. Main, N. Main, Front Street, Alexander and Coveland to Town Park

June 18  -  Whidbey Island Garden Tour  - Tour beautiful gardens throughout Whidbey Island.

September 17 $ 18  -  Whidbey Island Kite Festival  - enjoy the scenic backdrop of Camplo Casey and enjoy the colorful kites, demonstrations for both adults and children and more.  Go to

October  -  The Haunting of Coupeville - Visit the Scarecrows throughout Coupeville, make you way through the Corn Maze during the day and come back to find your way through after dark when it becomes haunted with our friendly ghosts.  Take a ride to the Pumpkin Patch, enter the pumpkin race where you build your own vehicle, and a lot more.  October is the Haunting of Coupeville month long activities.  For more information go to

November 26 - Sip 'N Shop On The Cove  -  Sample some of Whidbey's best Wines & Liqueres, enjoy tasty hors' d'oeuvres samples from local Restaurants, enter the free drawing for fabulous prizes and stroll our wonderful historic shopping district for those special holiday gifts. December 3  -  Jingle Trail 5k Run and Walk.  5 k Run or Walk through Scenic Camp Casey trails and Fort Casey State Park.  Ticket price includes a t-shirt and goodie back.  For more information go to

December 3  -  Greening of Coupeville Celebration, Parade, Tree Lighting, Boat Parade of Lights and Late Night Shopping.  The Greening of Coupeville Christmas Parade is a step back in time, following the Parade enjoy Carol Singing and the Tree Lighting at Cooks Corner Park.  Shops in our historic district will be open late so stroll the town and walk down to the Wharf to watch the Boat Parade of Lights from Oak Harbor Yacht Club.  The perfect way to start the holidays.  For more information contact the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce.  360-678-5434
